The classic has a bigger screen for your viewing pleasures but if you don't watch movies or use the ipod to show off pictures then whats the point in having a larger screen? Unless of course you have trouble looking at small screens then by all means choose the classic. But for the amount of money you want to spend I think the nano is the way to go these days.
