How can you put songs from your ipod onto your iTunes library?

I got a new ipod for christmas, i’ve also recently got a new computer.
Therefore, i have none of the songs that was on my old ipod on my computer, which means i can’t put the songs onto my new ipod.
Is there any way i can get the songs of my old ipod and onto my new ipod?

Sync your old Ipod to you computer then sync your new Ipod to your computer. After the songs from you old Ipod are on your computer you should be able to put them on your new Ipod either by dragging and droping or syncing you new Ipod to the computer.

Here is a tip. All you need is to get all music/videos from your old iPod back to this computer and iTunes. In this case, all songs/videos are on your iTunes library that you can syn both iPods with whenever you wish to without deleting any files.

Simply use this handy program called Tansee iPod Transfer to help you http://www.gutensoft.com/Utilities/Tansee-iPod-Transfer.htm
Many of my friends are using it for its easy and safe transfer.

With just a few simple clicks, it will help you transfer all songs/videos from old iPod to your selected folder on your computer, and then you can easily add those files back to iTunes. More importantly, this won’t overwrite any original files on your iPod.And all song names are preserved.

Here is step-by-step guide on the whole process:

I heard this iPod to computer/iTunes direct transfer program works great on this

    http://ipod-tool.com/ipod-software/joboshare-ipod-rip.html

It was designed to help transfer music, videos, photos, playlists, podcasts and more from iPod to computer and iTunes. So you can use it to transfer music from your iPod back to your iTunes in a direct way. Then all files are on your iTunes, and you can sync smoothly without deleting any files.
Besides, it can also help drag and drop files between iPods.

This is easy and quick. I recommend you try it.
    Best luck!

I use this DVD to iPod Converter.

Step 1: Convert DVD to MP4 or H.264 supported by iPod.
Step 2: Import the converted movie to iTunes.
Step 3: Connect your iPod to your computer, sync the movie to your iPod.

    Hope it helps!

(To do this without downloading some kind of program which may potentially give you a virus…)

-Plug your old ipod into your new computer (make sure itunes is not set to sync before doing this or your music will be gone).

-Go to “my computer”, then click on the drive your ipod is plugged into (it should say the name you have chosen for your ipod)

-Once you are in the ipod folder, Go to “tools” –> “folder options” –> “view” –> then choose “show hidden files and folders”

-Click on “ipod control” –> then click the folder “music”

-You will find a bunch of folders, and these are the folders that contain your music. So you can highlight all of these folders, then “copy” and “paste” them on to your new computer. This way you can add the ipod songs into your new computer’s itunes library.
